By a 7-2 margin, the U.S. Supreme Court turned away yet another legal challenge to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on Thursday, June 17. The majority opinion in California v. Texas, authored by Justice Stephen Breyer, said that the individual plaintiffs and a group of 20 state attorneys general – including Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge – lacked standing to challenge the law.
