ACHI is pleased to announce that Jennifer Wessel, our senior policy analyst and data privacy officer, has earned her Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) credential from the American Health Information Management Association.
The certification is the result of knowledge Jennifer acquired as our data privacy officer, as well as extensive training and successful testing. Achieving a CHPS designation signifies a high level of competence in designing, implementing, and administering healthcare privacy and security protection programs.
“It is rare to have someone with this certification and with such expertise in an organization of our size,” said ACHI Health Policy Director Craig Wilson. “We’re proud to have her on our team.”
Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Arkansas. She earned a law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and a master of public health degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She has worked at ACHI since 2012.
