The Arkansas Healthcare Transparency Initiative (HTI) has served for more than a decade as the state’s primary, unified source for health data. Administered by ACHI under the authority of the Arkansas Insurance Department, the HTI continues to support a broad spectrum of activities to inform researchers, healthcare leaders, and policymakers with actionable, data-driven insights into the healthcare landscape.
The Arkansas General Assembly created the HTI under Act 1233 of 2015, the Arkansas Healthcare Transparency Initiative Act. Over the years, the HTI has evolved into one of the most robust repositories of state-level health data in the country.
As required under the act, a report on HTI operations is submitted biennially to the Arkansas General Assembly. Highlights from the 2024-2025 report include:
- An update on enhancements to HTI data use.
- An update on the entities that submit data.
- A data request summary for 2024-2025.
- Examples of projects that rely on HTI data.
- A look at developments that will shape the next phase of HTI work.
