ACHI President and CEO Dr. Joe Thompson discusses the COVID-19 pandemic in a new public service announcement. In the 30-second video, Dr. Thompson says:
“I’m Dr. Joe Thompson, a physician here in Arkansas. COVID 19 is now the No. 1 cause of death in the United States, and it is spreading in our communities. As Arkansans, it is our responsibility to control this virus and protect those most vulnerable. You can be infected and spread it and not know it. Do your part: Wash your hands, stay 6 feet apart, and wear a mask. Your actions could save someone’s life.”
