An initiative by the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement to illustrate demographic and health statistics information for Arkansas adults age 18 to 64.

Key takeaways

For every 100 adults age 18 to 64:

  • 26 report fair or poor health and 74 report good or better health
  • 23 smoke and 77 do not
  • 73 are obese or overweight and 27 are not
  • 68 exercised in the past month and 32 did not
  • 74 consume vegetables more than once a day and 26 do not
  • 64 have private coverage, 20 have public coverage, 5 have private and public coverage, and 11 are uninsured
  • 63 had a dental visit in the past year and 37 did not
  • 10 have asthma and 90 do not
  • 6 have angina or coronary heart disease and 94 do not
