ACHI NAMES DAVID SANDERS DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE
LITTLE ROCK ― The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement has appointed David Sanders as director of information systems architecture. In this role, Sanders will oversee the team managing the Arkansas Healthcare Transparency Initiative’s All-Payer Claims Database, a large-scale repository of health data that supports analysis, research and health policy development efforts aimed at improving the health of Arkansans.
Sanders succeeds Kenley Money, who retired June 30 after overseeing ACHI’s healthcare data infrastructure for the past 16 years.
Sanders brings more than 20 years of leadership experience and technical expertise, including leading complex data and technology initiatives. He previously built and led data architecture and systems oversight functions at organizations including Amazon Web Services, Euronet Worldwide, and Acxiom. He is a native Arkansan and a 1999 graduate of Arkansas State University.
“Informed decision-making and policy development require access to consistent, reliable and comprehensive health data and the infrastructure that supports it,” said ACHI President and CEO Craig Wilson. “David’s extensive experience overseeing data and technology systems for state, national and international organizations makes him an excellent addition to ACHI’s leadership team.”
ACHI is a nonpartisan, independent health policy center that serves as a catalyst for improving the health of all Arkansans through evidence-based research, analysis, and collaborative program development.
