The Translational Research Institute (TRI) proudly presents Research Day 2026, a event showcasing translational science advancements and fostering collaboration. Each year, Research Day features exceptional speakers from Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) hubs across the nation, highlights the achievements of TRI-supported researchers, provides excellent opportunities for networking and facilitates connections with communities across the state.

The theme of this year’s Research Day is “Translational Science Principles in Action Across Arkansas.”

The keynote address this year will be delivered by Barry S. Coller, M.D., of The Rockefeller University, who is renowned for his investigations into the role of blood platelets and the mechanisms of blood cell adhesion in vascular disease. He is the David Rockefeller Professor of Medicine and co-principal investigator of the Rockefeller Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA).
