our capabilities

As the premier health policy center in Arkansas, the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement is changing how communities address health improvement.

The Arkansas Center for Health Improvement is a nonpartisan, independent health policy center that serves as the principal health data, analytic, and policy development resource for public and private decision-makers in Arkansas. With federal, state, and philanthropic funding, ACHI’s mission is to improve the health of Arkansans through evidence-based policy support.

Our center is at the forefront of health data management and analysis, having hosted the Arkansas Health Data Initiative since 2003 and the Arkansas Healthcare Transparency Initiative, which supports the Arkansas All-Payer Claims Database (APCD), since 2015.
