In a given dispute, the qualifying payment amount (QPA) is the median contracted payment rate the insurer pays in-network providers in the disputing provider's geographic area for the disputed Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code. The QPA includes both the insurer's liability and the patient's cost sharing for a service.
Median QPA is the median QPA in dollars for that CPT code in the Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway region, pooled across all four 2025 PUF quarters. QPAs are only available for CPT codes which appeared on disputes at least 10 times in at least one quarter of 2025. No QPA is displayed for HCPCS codes.
QPAs for a given CPT code can vary widely across insurers and regions. Median QPAs given below should be interpreted as ballpark approximations of in-network payment rates associated with a given CPT code.
The Line Item Win Rate column reflects the selected provider's line item win rate among disputes arbitrated by that IDR entity.
Disputes are arbitrated by private firms called IDR entities. When initiating a dispute, the provider proposes its preferred IDR entity. The insurer can accept the provider's choice or propose its own preferred IDR entity. If both parties to the dispute cannot agree, the IDR entity is selected at random from the full list of IDR entities.
