  exceptional speakers from Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA
 ) hubs across the nation\, highlights the achievements of TRI-supported re
 searchers\, provides excellent opportunities for networking and facilitate
 s connections with communities across the state. The theme of this year’
 s Research Day is “Translational Science Principles in Action Across Ark
 ansas.” The keynote address this year will be delivered by Barry S. Coll
 er\, M.D.\, of The Rockefeller University\, who is renowned for his invest
 igations into the role of blood platelets and the mechanisms of blood cell
  adhesion in vascular disease. He is the David Rockefeller Professor of Me
 dicine and co-principal investigator of the Rockefeller Clinical and Trans
 lational Science Award (CTSA).
